This was a major remodel. The walls had to be reinforced. The suspended ceiling had EIGHT 4 foot, 2 tube fluorescent light fixtures, dropping the ceiling almost a foot!
She cost me $3000.00. Do you see all the possibilitys like I did?

I sewed green velvet swags and attached them where the slide out meets the rest of the room and cut out a 1 x 12 to make a cornice to cover where the drapes are attached with shower rings to long closet rods. The two side windows got Austrailian panels and drapes as well.
A sealer type of paint and several coats of it was applied to the floor. I do have a few area rugs but it's much easier to sweep up threads and scraps with no carpeting and I couldn't afford anything else anyway.
I stapled fabric on one wall, painted the walls, trim and windows and ripped out the old carpeting. The walls were built on top of the carpeting so this was a real job!
I've added custom cornices and shades to the windows since this picture was taken. My cutting table is 5 x 6' and my machine table is 24 x 9' with storage underneath.
