I used to work at a carpet store but my MH just has bare wood floors. We have dogs and a teenager who rides 4-wheelers and works on cars for fun. You might consider putting a layer of Floor Paint down. I prefer enamel. You can wash it easy and it will help keep the splinters down. For the marriage l...

The cheapest I would demo a mobile home for is $500 The cheapest I could get one moved across town is about $450 I agree with the newspaper idea.... You can have it, you got to move it. Habitat for Humanity are snobs and have lots of rules to go by, so they won't take it. Run an ad saying... you can...

Our neighbor did not vent the dryer to outdoors because they were afraid rats would come in the hole. This same neighbor always had breathing problems, probably cause the dryer lint flying around the house. Having as few bends as possible is also good for maintenance. That is to say, once or twice a...

In Arkansas the Mobile Home Commission has a booklet they will mail, that has the basic requirements for setting up a mobile home. Every house is a little bit different so check your local codes. One thing people overlook is setting blocks under the entry doors. Then the door dont shut right and it ...

Then if you know the minerals, you can know how to treat the water. Water can be too Soft. Shampoo and ...

I agree. One sheet of OSB aint heavy, but several sheets are very heavy. If you go to a store that sells lumber, you can find a variety of paneling now days. Some looks like tile, some looks like that Mossy Oak Pattern, or you can go for the old fashioned woodgrain look. It is usually $10 to $15 per...
