Re: Intertherm/Nordyne MGH-075 blower problem

If you turn off all the circuit breakers that power the unit and pull the blower motor section out, you should be able to remove the run capacitor and see what rating it is. It will be a number like 5, 10, 12.5, 15, or 20 followed by uF. When you have this number, you will be able to either order it...

Re: FEH-15/17A won't turn off

Does the blower stay on or is it the complete heating system?

Re: Intertherm/Nordyne MGH-075 blower problem

Should just need a nut driver to remove the screw that holds it in place and there are only 2 wires going to it so it shouldn't be too difficult. The wires come directly from the motor.

Re: Intertherm FEH-015HA-04

Does it heat when you have it in the "On" position? This portion of your thermostat only controls the blower motor, so if it does heat when you have it in the "On" position, you could have a bad sequencer or bad t-stat.

Re: Intertherm/Nordyne MGH-075 blower problem

Sounds like it could just be your run capacitor. Robert could get a part number for you.

Re: blower motor on intertherm model e2eb-020ha

If you find out that it was the relay, your old motor wasn't the issue and didn't need to be replaced so keep it for a backup. Also, did you change the run capacitor when you replaced the motor?

Re: blower motor on intertherm model e2eb-020ha

Are you able to check your blower relay to see if it has gone bad? You would need a digital meter. The relay could have gone bad and the contacts that are supposed to be normally open may be stuck in the closed position. This would cause the motor to be energized in 2 speeds at the same time and wou...

Re: Coleman 3400A812 Electric Furnace Not Blowing

Turn the fan to the on position. Do you hear your motor beginning to hum like it is trying to start? If so, try spinning the squirrel cage to see if that helps get the motor going. If that doesn't work you could have a bad motor. If the motor does start going you could have a weak capacitor that nee...

RE: E2EB-O15HA FROM BAD TO WORSE

Do u have a meter to check the voltage at the relay? If you have voltage coming into the relay, but not out of the relay, your relay could be bad. If the voltage is coming out of the relay, you might want to check the capacitor's micro farad out put. If the capacitor is putting out what it's rated t...

I figured it out. It seems that the contactor was stuck in the closed position and sent power to the fan relay (which was in the normally closed position). The motor never shut off and eventually when the t-stat called for a/c the motor was activated in 2 different speeds and well the old motor isn'...

I have a quick question... When I turn on the circuit breakers to the unit, the strip heaters come on and stay on unless i turn the breaker off again. And the blower motor does not operate in heating, cooling or when I just set fan mode to "on" at the thermostat. Is it possible that the co...
