RE: Roof Leaking -- Rain Tonight
Where do you find Ames products in California? The site does not show a retailer in Mobile, AL. I need the Elastomeric Coating either Monday or Tuesday.

Roof Leaking -- Rain Tonight
I have a 1970 14 x 60 with a leak in the bedroom. I had a regular stick house roofer look at it. He said that the middle of the roof formed a "V" and water had collected about 1" to 1.5" deep. He sweep off the water, but said that he could not do anything while it is wet. I asked...

Replacement for built-in stereo
I did a search on this subject and found one the pertained to it. The post did not answer where I can find a replacement for the built-in radio. Maybe different people can respond with suggestions. I want to keep the original look.

Front Door Won't Remain Closed in Colder Weather.
Again, I have a rental with a slight problem. When the weather gets colder, I guess the door shrinks and will not catch. Should I move the catch out further or work with the hinges or what?

Why was my post locked?
I recently posted the topic, "Electricity Surging." I wanted to add a final reply as to what the problem really was, but I find it is locked. Why? Well on closer examination, we found that the ground on the power pole had been knocked loose. I called the local electrical company. Their guy...

RE: Electricity Surging
Unfortunately, the 20-something tenants did not have permission to perform any repairs. I am not certain that they did. I am hopeful to have an electrician there either today or tomorrow.

Electricity Surging
I have a new tenant moving into one of our rental mobile homes. He called tonight and said that the electricity was surging. He said that the lights would go dim and then brighten. Also if one end of the house was bright, the other end is dim. The previous tenants did not complain of the lights. I a...

Need Cheap Steps
I need a set of steps for the rear door that would be used only for emergencies. I asked a mobile home dealer where he got the steps that he uses on his lot. He said that he bought them in bulk from mobile home parts dealer for about $40 each. You have to add your own 2 x 10's. I have checked a coup...

RE: AC Cost Update
Oh, I forgot. Was the HVAC company being straight when they said that they had to replace both the inside and outside units because of the SEER of the newer units?
Thanks for all the information.

RE: AC Cost Update
The finally cost was $1990 which included the inside and outside units, labor, and taxes. I think it is a fair price from what I have seen in other posts. What do you think?

AC Cost Update
I see that my previous post concerning this topic has been locked. :o ?????? Here is the update. The HVAC company came out and inspected the unit. They said that the outside unit was old and rusted out (about 15 years old and close to the Gulf). Also, they needed to replace the inside AC coil becaus...
