Guys !!! THe answer to the problem was so stupid...the motor needed oil. Found the oil ports and some WD-40...no more loud noises...thank you for all your help.

I live in New Jersey and I just bought my very first trailer. It seems that now all the quirks of how badly this place was taken care of are coming out.
