Re: Help! Installing new storm door and stuck
It’ll fit with the measurement of the outer sides, the J channel. The part that isn’t fitting is the squared part inner to the J channel. The one on our frame is 1” wide and on the storm door only 3/4” wide to install it over.

Re: Nordyne 5ton blower going out
Wow...I hope we can do that. I read thru the whole thing...not sure I can do it..but I'm willing to try. Dh isn't very mechanical, I'm afraid we'll take it apart and won't get it back together correctly.

The outside unit and inside unit are both about 10yrs old. They were installed with the mobile home when it was set up. Yesterday the blower on the furnace started making a horrific clacking/grinding/banging noise. It went on all day and everytime the a/c clicks on..it would sound like something hit...

Question on A/C system
Our Nordyne outside unit went out two summers ago and we have been using window units since then. Our heat works fine, but the compressor went out on the outside unit. Its a 5 ton. We called around for quotes and the cheapest we could get would be 4800.00 for a whole new system. What I'm wondering i...

Painting interior question
Can you paint the vinyl type walls in mobile homes?? We have a 2000 dw home and I would LOVE be able to paint our kitchen and bathrooms. They have ugly floral print walls and I can't stand them. Mother in law picked them out when they bought this home for themselves before we took over the payments.

Hubby and I bought a Whirlpool water softener system and Whirlpool water filter system over the weekend. We have well water that is really hard. I would love to have soft drinkable water like we used to have when we lived on the other side of town. How hard is it going to be to install these in our ...
