No light at all but the rest at least appeared to be working correctly

Everything seemed to be working fine, I smelt the little gas that I'd assume would've been used for the pilot? But there was no activity in the chamber. After 3 or 4 failed attempts by the furnace to lite I received the LED warning. Sry about the confusion, the "main piece" as I'm defining...

M1MB 070A BW Ignition parts/a little help
So I have done basic troubleshooting and after I got the 4-blink LED I decided to do some research. First question is how tight should the nuts on the flexible gas hose be :? ? I'm trying to inspect the burner tube/orifice but I don't want to break something off, I'm cracking on the nuts pretty good...
