Re: Painting Walls
you could try to fill them with mesh tape and joint compound then sand ,but many here and myself have tried and had poor results, over time cracks begin in the seams. mobile homes move and flex because of the way they're constructed. like a big box on a flat bed trailer. the spaces between the panels...

Re: Decorator Door/Partition
depending upon your skill level at home diy you can make a set of french doors and hang them in that space or you can get 2, 24" doors and hinge then together then hang them . i would try to install some kind of door frame. I've seen solid door slabs and loovered doors, or 6 panel door slabs, i...

Re: Rustoleum cabinet and countertop coatings
hello, i am very interested in them also but i would think that the coating on these cabinets would maybe start to peel or bubble, not sure about the chemical reaction with the surface material it's being applied to. dad had body shop and i learned alot about the chemical reaction of diffrent coatin...

Re: Seeking insulation advice/minimizing heat loss in traile
hello, pretty much agree with greg, would like to ad if your going the spray foam route i would do the remodel first if you're going to be moveing or adding eletric outles or fixtures. once it's foamed it's sealed and good , real pain to have to remove it to work on something in the wall. I noticed ...

Re: Underelly alternative
Hello, I would think that if you insulated the floor space with spray foam then panel it off would be good, but pray you don't have to do any floor work or plumbing work under the house.. maybe just use batt insulation and close up with panels, build a cover around the duct work with 1 1/2 inch foam...

Re: A question about windows
hello, on the inner window ,the by the bottom of thetop glass pane should be 2 plastic or metal clips. they would be in between the outer window and inner window. remove the clips and the window should come out from the bottom and slide out of the tracks. got those type in my newly aquired 87 zimmer.
