Pex to shutoffs
Have a replumb coming up, probably will do pex manifold. When running the pex up to connect to the supply line shut off valves, how do you guys do that so it doesn't look hokey? Do you brace in a short piece of copper for the valve, and run the pex underneath to that? Or something else? I have run p...

Re: Bought and older double wide - Kitchen needed a refresh!
That's weird. I have 2 rentals with exactly the same floor plan. 1969s. One, we redid down to studs and opened up the wall to the LR as a pass through, and removed the hutch, opened up the exterior wall with French doors to a large back deck. Also, used the same oak laminate. Today, ironically, I am...

Replace French door with slider?
Heavily beat up DW, remodeled and reconfigured and rented. Opened up the exterior wall in the dining area and put in a *used *, reclaimed French door (only one of my many mistakes... If I knew then what I know now) that has been leaking. In 2 days I plan to pull it out, repair framing as necessary, ...

Re: Desperate for Help - How to Repair?
Ask people you trust if they know anyone ; ask around @ church; ask @ the contractor desk @ Lowe's, Menard, or home Depot. A handyman should be skilled enough to troubleshoot this & fix it, & you won't have to pay $85/hr for a plumber
