I have an old Intertherm 1100 series furnace that heats up to the temperature set on the thermostat, then it kicks off and right back on a couple of times. Sometimes the blower motor tries to kick on then quits several times in a row. I have replace the thermo disc and last year i replaced the thermocoupler and the fan limit switch. Could it be the limit switch again? Also if I turn the thermostat above 70 sometimes the gas will kick on but not the blower and the furnace will get really hot.

Hi,

With what you stated it is doing and the parts already replaced, due to safety, it would be best to call an hvac tech out to inspect it and diagnose correctly.

Thanks,
Robert
