I am remodeling a bathroom - removed the old mobile home tub and made room for a 30x60 steel tub and installed it. Apparently the old plastic tub sat slightly higher off the ground than the new steel tub, so the ABS drain sits just below the level of the tub. (see pic)
The tub drains all the way but there is water standing about 1/2" in the bottom of the drain.
Not sure how I am going to fix this since the ABS drain pipe is sitting on the floor. And it goes into a vent pipe, and immediately under the subfloor it elbows into the drain to septic.
Not sure if I should live with the water in the drain or what I can do to fix it...
... any ideas?
