I want to replace the blower motor but I'm having trouble removing the blower housing. I removed the two bolts at the top. Now what? I can't find any other bolts to remove.
Thanks very much in advance!
Blower Housing Removal
Is it in a mobile home furnace ?
If so, not sure which bolts you are referring to.
What is furnace model number ?

Some people are Humbly Grateful, while some are Grumbly Hateful.................... Which one are you ?
Thank you for the prompt reply, sorry for the lack of info.
The furnace model is mgh-075.
Here's a pic showing the 2 bolts I removed.
Here's a side view of where it looks and feels like the housing is riveted or welded onto that bracket next to the arrow.
Thanks again for the help, this is a great site!!

Hi,
Not sure what the bolts are holding, but shouldn't have been needed to remove them.
Look on other side of motor on each side down at bottom.
You should see a lip extending out from housing about an 1-2".
You should see metal pieces that the lips slide under.
May also have a screw or two along with lips on each side.
Then, disconnect wiring and slide out.
Look closely at link I sent.
The brackets are bolted/screwed to the housing.
Thanks,
Robert

Thanks for the instructions, I'll be ready to put the new motor in soon. If I have problems I'll be sure to stop back for advice. Thanks again!
Just reverse the steps in the article, pretty straight forward.
You're very welcome also, happy to help.
