I have a Nordyne E2EB 015 that occasionally will allow the elements to come on without the fan. This has been occurring for a couple of years but seems to be on the increase. From looking at past posts, it seems that the sequencer is the likely culprit. There seems to be 2 of them, one over the other.
Are there other control parts that can give the same symptoms.
Kevin
Nordyne- Elements on/Fan off
Hi Kevin,
Check element coils to see if any have fallen down touching other coils or frame. If not, most likely the sequencer.
What are the last 2 letters of furnace model number, is it HA or HB ?
Thanks,
Robert

I note on the parts page that the sequencer for the E2EB015HA is the part # equivalent to 621678 that is on the left side of the page. #01-0843 starts with the E2EB017 and larger.
Thoughts?
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
The manufacturer started designating 621679 for your furnace. That along with the fact that you could upgrade your furnace to higher KW with the 621679, that is what I go with.
Thanks,
Robert
