Hello,
I have a Nordyne furnace. Model no. is: M1MB - 056 A - BW
The problem is that the blower runs a long time before it shuts off and the furnace is producing cool air, through the heat registers.
The air is tepid at best, with very little warm air being produced.
The warmest air if you can call it that, is in the hall bathroom, which is closest to the heater. We have 1999 Golden West double wide mobile home.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated
Cool air and blower runs longer than it should
Hi,
Are saying it is always cool/cold air or just when blower keeps running and not shutting off after burner goes out ?
Thanks,
Robert

Hello Robert,
Thank you for responding to my post. We appreciate any ideas you might have.
The yellow LED light flashes for a weak flame. That is what is happening. The air is cool with just a smidge of warmth but not very much all the time the blower is running.

Hi,
Check your burner and burner orifice for blockage like spiderweb which are very common.
Make sure they are clear.
If so, then will need to have an hvac tech check your gas valve manifold pressure.
Thanks,
Robert

Please excuse my ignorance, but where is the burner and burner orifice? We don't see anything like that, except there is a little round opening that is covered by a metal flap, is that it? When we lift up the flap we can see the flame.

Hi,
You have to disconnect gas lines after turning gas off and burning off residual in lines.
Remove gas valve, then the round plate behind gas valve that burner is attached to.
Burner orifice is inside a spud behind the gas valve.
This may need an hvac tech if you are at all unsure on this.
Thanks,
Robert
