We have a new mobile with a Nordyne Model M1MB090A AW gas furnace. Have tried 2 different set back thermostats but in both cases furnace cycles every 4-5 minutes. As soon as temp drops a degree it immediately fires up. The standard stat that came with the home functions fine & cycles normally. Is there a special type of set back stat for these down flow furnaces?

Thanks;
Ron

Both were for a gas furnace & I could not find any adjustments possible on them. Both stats are now in service at my kids homes & working just fine. I hate to spend another $80.00 to find out a 3rd one functions the same on a mobile furnace.
If you know of a model that has those adjustments I would appreciate the info.

Thanks

Hi,

Rite-temp t-stats do not work with all furnaces, most but not all.

Thanks,
Robert
