I had a miller moc-80 furnace and it went up on me and i bought a barely used CMF-80 from a mobile home store supply shop I used my old base for it to sit on top it runs ok but if i call for heat and lets says it is 70 inside and i want it to be 72 it will kick off around 71 and go off on the hight limit switch. and when it cools down it will call for heat and finish the rest of the cycle.

Thing's I have allready tried to do

1. Take all of the vents out of the floor to see if my duct work is not efficent enough

2.The unit is in a closet and i opened the door to get more air in still doing the same thing

3. I called customer service and did not get much help from them

Hi,

If it is kicking out on high limit due to actual overheating, it is best to call an hvac tech out to be thoroughly tested for safety.

Too risky to not have it inspected and diagnosed properly.

Thanks,
Robert
