I have installed a new electric nordyne furnace which requires a 30amp and a 60amp Breaker.

I have noticed that inside my Mainpanel in my house the 60amp breaker is buzzing and making noise. The breakers inside the furnace are ok. I would like to know if this is an ok condition for breakers? I have never had this problem before.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

Hi Troy,

The breaker should not be buzzing or making any noise. I would have it checked by an hvac tech soon as possible.

Be aware that the breakers in your main service panel in home are not same as the breakers in the furnace, even if they are same amp rating.

The breakers in the panel are over-current breakers, the ones in furnace are not.

Thanks,
Robert
