Inside works fine, blower runs, thermostat seems ok.
Outside no fan and no compressor.
When thermostat is turned to cool you hear a click on the contactor and something hums for a few seconds then nothing.
The fan doesn't start and the compressor doesn't start. If i pust the test button on the contactor something hums but i can't tell what it's coming from.
is there a way to direct wire the fan to see if it works and how about the compressor to see if it works?

Thank you for any help

Hi,

Is there one or two run capacitors ?

If only one, how does it look ? Any bulging or swelling or leaking ?

When you pushed arm bar on contactor, did you push in all the way ?

Have you tested incoming and outgoing of contactor for 240VAC each with arm bar pushed in ?

Thanks,
Robert
