Fan blower was cutting off/set on "auto" on but would work when set "on". The other night we had a hot smell and haven't run it since.

Sequencer was replaced last fall.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Was it being used for a/c, heat or fan only at time of heat smell and cutting off ?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi,

That sounds like a possible wiring short in the wiring itself or the motor. In a/c mode, motor should come on in high speed and remain there.

Look at all wiring and components and connector plugs.

Try to find where hot smell is from. With motor going through speeds, IF it is then that could burn the motor up.

Check the molex plug closely and the wires.

Thanks,
Robert
