We have a doublewide on a basement on our private acreage. At one end of the doublewide a separation of the halves is visible in the ceiling and between the walls. What kind of repair would we be looking at here? I have tried to contact a couple of mobile home repair contractors in our area but cannot get anyone to return my calls.

Thanks for any advice you have to give...

At the least, your home will need to be re-leveled. The connection between the floor marriage joint may need to be tightened up. If your set up does not include middle piers, you may want to ask your contractor about installing some.

You do want a mobile home contractor and even then you want to feel confident that the contractor you choose is very experienced at leveling homes with basements.
