I have a problem with the blower motor coming on and running for 5-10 second then go off and come back on. This is when use the furnace for heating. When you switch the t stat from auto to on it works fine. what is the problem.

the most likely cause based on your description is a faulty fan switch
the can be ordered from this site at a reasonably cost.
remember to turn power to the unit off, before disconnecting/reconnecting the fan switch.
go to the parts section of this site

The fan switch is used in heat mode only. Has nothing to do with cooling mode.

Thanks,
Robert
