i hear alot about tsp on this site used for washing mobile homes. what does the tsp stand for and where do you get it? im from new mexico.

It stands for Trisodium Phosphate. It is a heavy duty cleaner. We get it in a powder form from building centers and hardware stores. I'm not sure were else. I haven't look anywhere else for it.

Instructions are on the container on how much TSP to water. Very good stuff to use for prep work.

Also TSP etches the surface thus giving it "tooth" for the paint to hold to.

Paint is no better than the surface it goes on.
