Compressor buzzing...

Compressor just buzzes when trying to start. Its not grounded and is pulling approx. 72 amps when. I believe its locked up do you think a new capacitor may solve the problem or a quick start?
I think you have locked rotor since you amp draw is so high. Probably time for a new unit or compressor replacement. Usually a new unit is better because you will get a 5 year warranty.
You could always try a capacitor or add a heard start kit to try and rock it loose.
