Where to start...Ok someone came to fix the air earlier this year and installed a relay, a/c works great but no heat to start with. After investigating I found the sequencer was brittle and fell into three pieces then in the process of changing it the wires just fell out of the fan switch(ifs). I purchased a new fan switch and installed it today Now my 1st stage of the strips will come on but no fan so the limit kicks out. I manually turned the fan from the t-stat to on and both 1st and 2nd stage heat work fine now, but the fan has to run at all times so I investigated some more with the fan switch I put on. When the fan switch is in auto as I said before, 1st stage, no fan, then limits out, but when switched to on, fan dont run but the 1st stage strip comes on??? This fella who came before me has something wrong and I have a very limited schematic to go by...Can you get your hands on a in detail schematic of the way this units originally wired and perhaps offer any advice? I have one limit and one 2 stage sequencer in the panel that are original and 1 after market relay put in by the fella before me, I believe the aftermarket relay is whats wrong. Are there suppose to be any other relays or sequencers besides the 1 sequencer and one relay I see that are factory? If you have one that you can maybe take a picture of the panel and have a schematic handy I believe I can figure it out.
Thanks a bunch...

The clean up guy...
And just to let you know you have been more then helpful in the past I greatly appreciate you...

Hi ,

Glad to help, you're very welcome. Go here and follow steps to order wiring & parts diagrams.

Got to run over to other home we bought and finish furnace repair.

When I return, I'll check back again.

Heating Element:

The sequencer controls the heating elements and the blower motor for heat mode.

The blower relay controls the blower motor for a/c mode.

Thanks,
Robert

Yep, that would make it rather difficult w/o the wiring diagram.

You're very welcome, glad you're warm now and all is good to go.

Thanks for allowing us to assist you.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
