Our furnace has what could be described as an intermittent problem. At times, it is slow to fire. It has been getting worse though...going from once or twice every few days to twice so far today!
You hear the thermostat kick and the oil pump kicks on and on the worst one I counted, it was 10 seconds until it fired. When it did, it was quite the rumble. The next time it fired up just fine.
Any ideas?
I'm new to this so any advice is appreciated.

Hi,

With what you described and stated, it would be best to call a Tech.

Too many variables that it could be and need proper tools and equipment to test and diagnose.

Thanks,
Robert
