I have a Miller Model CMF80-PG propane furnace PGB-1-01
The furnace starts fine and heats up properly but cycles on and off
after about 4 min. until room temp is met then turns off as it's
suppose to. The furnace was installed in 2002.I was wondering if
this is normal or is it suppose to run until room temp is met? I just
bought the property so not sure how the furnace ran before.
Any ideas? Gas and blower stop then furnace reignites and blower comes back on about every 4 min or so.

Hi,

That's not normal and due to some safety problems that can cause this, it should be inspected by a HVAC Tech.

Could be overheating and cutting out on a Limit. for example.

Thanks for inquiring,
Robert
