I have a new Manufactured home that has a Nordyne model E3EB-015H Electric Heating unit. What Air conditioner do I need to have installed? I want something that isnt going to cost a bundle but be cost efficient. The house is 1500 sq. ft. Will A heat pump be the best?

Anyone that can help I would appreciate it.

Hi Bryan,

Best to get a HVAC contractor/installer to come out, more than one if possible and try to get those experienced with Manufactured Housing.

Need an ACCA Manual J Load Calc to know for sure what size is needed.

Then go with what is recommended as best for your home, matches your furnace blower capabilities and area weather.

They won't break the bank in most cases, but aren't really cheap either.

Probably be in range of 3 to 4 ton unit.

Too many types and brands to really help here, need to see and research with an installer who can answer questions with a hands on approach.

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
