I have a Nordyne heat pump SR# B3B020807246 with 20 kw back up heat strips H4HK020H-20. The auxiliary heat keeps clicking on and off with a buzzing/humming sound coming from possibly the sequencers? There seems to be an occasional arcing on the sequencers when they click. I replaced both sequencers 621958 and that has helped considerably. It still clicks occasionally once the furnace has been running a while. I am wondering if maybe the thermal sensor is also bad? Transformer 621709? Or maybe the heating coils bad 491225? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Could be any of those, hard to say without testing them for voltage and/or amp draw.


What is the heat pump model number ?
