The temp was about 10 last night. Our front bathroom was fine, but the kitchen and back bathroom were waterless. We have had the heat on in the house at 72 degrees all day and the cold water pipes have thawed. We still have no hot water in these 2 areas. Everything has heattape under the trailer, but our skirting is very old and there's a draft. It is safe to leave a small heater w/a thermostat underneath the house? We leave for FL in the morning and are really sweating our problem. Also, does it make sense to drain the pipes and shut off the water? Thanks!

Hi & welcome. I personally would not trust a heater unattended under your home. At the very least turn the water off, if not draining it also (Don't forget to turn the hot water heater off). I think it is supposed to be a little warmer for the next few days also. Greg
