I replaced the sequencer around September of last year because the heat was not working. This weekend, I attempted to turn on the AC, and the AC comes on, however, the heat strips continue to burn. No matter where the thermostat is switched, AC or heat, auto or on, the heat will not stop working. Is my sequencer bad again? Or is there something else that could be causing this problem?

Hi,

Would be the sequencer, t-stat or if an element has fallen and touching the frame.

Would have to test for voltage with a meter to know.

Thanks,
Robert
