I just installed a new nordyne E3eb-017H electric furnace and would like to know on what to set the thermostat anticipator to?
My Thermostat is Holmes and it says to set it to .3 for all electric furnaces and my manual for my furnace says to set it to .4

what setting do I set it on and what does it do?

thanks

Hi Troy,

It keeps the t-stat from over or under shooting the set temp and stops a lot or short cycling.

I would set it at furnace recommendation of .4 . IF you notice it not acting right, bump it back to halfway between .3 and .4 .

Thanks,
Robert
