Tech came this morning, burn for this furnace is correct, and temp increase is within limits. The unit is 70 BTU and house is 1350 and at 2,000 feet elevation. The unit might be undersized for the temps at this elevation. So at this point at least know that it is working as it is suppose too. So with wood stove to get the house warm when we come up and the forced air to help we will be OK. NOt sure if I want to change to larger unit for the cost. Not sure what BTU is next available and the cost.

Happy New Year and thanks for all our help. :) :)

Hi Mike,

You're very welcome, happy to help. I hope it was putting out more than 101* supply temp when the tech was there.

Thanks,
Robert

What is it doing now ?

You always want the temp rise at least at minimum design, but as close to middle range if possible.

Thanks,
Robert

Did stay up there until the house warmed up, will check it out next time up with 70++ temps inside. For now just going to live with it and use the wood stove as we have.

Again

thanks for all your help with this.

Just got home for the "cabin" was 46 inside when we got there. Heater was putting out approx 90. Then got over 100 when the room warmed up. So guess it is working like he said he should.

Again, thanks

Hi Mike,

You're very welcome, happy to help. With the age, ambient temps and altitude, that's [pretty close to normal.

Enjoy the warmth !!

Take care and best wishes,
Robert
