I have a Nordyne Furnace mgha-056abfc-01.
serial # MCH 9203-03841
Must be about 15 yrs old.
I put in a new thermostat and it checks out, but the burners don't ignite.
Pilot is lit and looks strong. AC works.
Help!

Hi,

With a call for heat from t-stat, do you get 24VAC at the gas valve terminals ?

Thanks,
Robert

Are you replying to my question? I have no idea what you are talking about. You will have to talk in the most simple terms possible. When I try turn on the heat at the thermostat, there is a click at the furnace. that is all I can tell you.

Hi,

Yes and unfortunately, that is as simple of terms as it gets. If not understood, then trying to do DIY furnace repair is not a wise choice.

I would advise calling an hvac contractor out to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Thanks,
Robert
