I replaced the sequencer and thermostat. Unit will not shut off. i have turn it off at breaker. unit will wait a few minutes then come on. i also need a replacement disconnect assembly for it it melt part of it.

Does the blower stay on or is it the complete heating system?

The whole unit stays on.

The elements and the blower remain on even after sequencer and t-stat was replaced ?


If so, recheck all the wiring to ensure wires to elements and blower are on the output side of sequencers.


Also look for shorted wires touching.
