Hello,

My heater was working fine prior to going to bed last night. We woke up this morning to the temp being 60 degrees inside and the heater not working.

The thermostat is clicking and is working fine. We pulled the cover panel off of the heater unit and can see the Red LED light blinking twice.

Red LED blinking light means the Pressure Switch Is Open.

What does that mean? We have only been in our home since the end of June. This is a brand new unit.

Thanks in advance for any help you can suggest.

Hi,

IF the furnace is brand new, then call a certified hvac tech to diagnose it under warranty.

Could be a bad pressure switch, induced draft motor, air pipe to motor problem, tubes connected to switch problem.

Those are most common.

Thanks,
Robert
