Re: Remodel or Replace
Maybe you can find a good deal on a newer model that is a repo, not sure about your area but try a google search on repo manufactured homes. I've seen some great deals.

Re: Exterior update
The Valspar paint is a bit pricey, but I've painted a MH before and skimped on the paint.. Don't do it! Get good quality paint. Thanks everyone, I was afraid it was going to look too "pastel" but I like it. Denise, I brushed the first coat just to get good coverage in the nooks & crann...

Re: FYI- heat ducts/Yanita
Just a p.s., the propane man came today I guess the opening in my duct had been there a while... ( holds head while sobbing) in 4 weeks I used 144 gallons of propane to the tune of $406.00 dollars for a month of heat.. Propane is quite expensive here. I am thinking about getting a pellet insert for ...

I just wanted to share a situation that I encountered recently, if it seems like you are using more oil/propane this heating season... be sure that you check your heat ducts on the inside of your home also. I ran into an issue where I found out that the seams inside (not sure of the correct term) bu...

Is there anything that can be used in place of the underbelly wrap? Like something found in "any" hardware store ? Or is it best to just find a MH dealer online & order it? Also I am curious why you can buy the underbelly material 30x100 cheaper than fit to size of 70 x 14 ? I have a b...

RE: water explosion
Well no luck, I got under the home far enough to see that the insulation was saturated and I had at least 3" of standing water... My father monkey rigged the hot water heater to cut off the hot water line so that I can at least have cold water and can flush! but the standing water has to dry up...

RE: What should I do with this mess?
did you paint over the wallpaper? I had a wall that did this and I had to end up pulling the paint back off, and removing the thin vinyl top layer of the wallpaper (looked almost like a thin plastic )and then repaint using a primer
