Re: SprayPaint inside nasty shed?
Nasty shed is painted. I will never do that again as long as I live. It took 6 hrs just to paint the primer on because of all the old wood that was exposed. I did that by hand as advised by someone at the paint counter. Then, with WagnerPlus airless sprayer filled with $5 mis-matched paint from HD, ...

Re: SprayPaint inside nasty shed?
Thank you Greg and KL: I was thinking of getting one of those hand-held Wagner sprayers. I want to do it fast and have it dry fast.... like yesterday. hahahahaha. I saw my neighbor paint his whole house with one and it looked so easy. Since i painted my outside with latex, (roller and brush method) ...

SprayPaint inside nasty shed?
Has anyone used a little sprayer to paint the inside of their shed? My shed is NASTY looking (inside) and I can't bear to install my nice washer and dryer in there. I want to paint the metal inside, the shelves, & studs. I have a nice piece of indoor/outdoor carpet to put on the floor. Any advic...

RE: Beadboard wainscotting
Hi. Love the bathroom pic. I put beadboard in my kitchen. I used the 4x8 wooden panels that I bought at HD. You have to sand and prime, but once done its great. It covered up all the funky wall-papered board. It gives it that "cabin" look.
I am very happy with it.

RE: Painted Textured Walls....Yaaay!!!!
HI TRUDI: ATTA GIRL !!! had I been looking sooner, I would have responded because I love textured walls. I posted a while back (September) how I textured my ceiling and walls, and I love it so much I still want to kiss it . Its hard to make texture show in a pic. But its "dreamy" in real l...

Ok, I'm heading out for some tape. Thank you both for your advice.
I trust you all more than the guys at the "stores"!
Time will tell, but you are telling me a sensible, reasonable thing to do.
Bye.

Vinyl flooring problem
Here I am again.... its been a while, tho. Last Summer we had Armstrong Sheet vinyl put down on the floor. It is the kind that "floats", its not glued down. It was all good until in the winter when we were running heat, the floor seemed to "expand" and caused waves and bubbles. I...

No No No... !!! I didn't mean that you shouldn't address the causes of problems, and just do a nice cosmetic trick to save the day!!! No Way. I guess I didn't explain it right.... We had the whole house treated for termites at the get go. In fact, we had it inspected before we bought it. The existin...

RE: Sprucing up the kitchen
I am excited for you getting your kitchen all "prettified". I have just had a bad experience with the new sheet vinyl that you don't glue down.... its taped down on the edges and other places. It is bubbling up on us and I am starting to feel hatred welling up inside of me......enough of t...

Here I am. I have not been here for a few months, have been going crazy ever since we started removing the evil DIAGONAL KITCHEN WALL. Our real house sold, we moved into the MH and I was out of town for 6 weeks, then we had Christmas, my birthday, our anniversary, and ok, enough. I am back now. You ...

RE: Help: There's got to be an easier way
When I painted my paneling I just took the same brush I cut in around the ceiling with and brushed in the deeper grooves.... or use a thicker nap roller.... yes, sometimes the roller misses the grooves and you have to go back with a brush afterwards which is a pain..... have fun and laugh while you ...

RE: Move Diagonal Wall
Thanks to all of you for your comments.... I figure some genius ate some spicy food one night and it kept him up late and because he couldn't sleep he designed a diagonal wall to get revenge on the world in general..... Our wall is still there. this project is moving slowly.... due to the need to co...
