I agree...they are paying for a service within their home. If they want carpet, carpet it would be. I have carpet in my dining room, I also own a carpet shampooer!
Good luck,

Re: NASCAR Daytona 500
I hate the tandem racing! I missed the dual races...
Really thought Tony was gonna get the win...oh well the season has just begun!
Congrats to Trevor Bane, he did a great job the entire race.

LOL, Audie you are the best story teller! I always read with a smile on my face and even burst out in laughter as I envision the antics!

Hi Audie! How great to see you are still here. I so enjoyed your stories! It's been awhile since I have been in PA, will probably be awhile yet. I do not go during the winter months. Glad to hear all is well with you...please keep us posted on whatever projects you come up with this summer. Take car...

Re: Window Sills Peeling
Hi,
It is always best to run your exhaust fan while cooking and bathroom vent fans while bathing/showering for at least one hour after each activity. As Greg said window replacement is the best option but not always affordable.

Hi,
You said older home...the info you have been given is great...but in my home that hidden dead space is to the right of my stove under he counter! I had to slide the stove out and cut an access panel there. Just another place to look.

Re: Kitchen Lighting
I would gladly give suggestions but I still can't figure out what I am looking at. Can't say that I have ever seen a set up like that before. It looks to me like a ceiling fan enclosed in plastic hood? The pics are real close so I am not getting the whole pic.

HI, I can't hurt to open all your lower cabinet doors and allow heat to circulate in there as well. Batts is the best insualtion to use for your underbelly. This is not the end of repairs...something always happens. Your pipes need to be up next to your duct work, and the insulation below that then ...

Hi Arlo!!! Great to see ole friends are still here! I agree the sign in is really a pain.
