Re: Tankless Hot water heaters
Those electric ones can use up to 6 slots on the circuit panel so make sure you have space. There's no real size but more like how many things you want to run hot water all at once? Most will list what they are capable of ex; like some can do 2 showers and a sink all at once and flow at 5.0gpm and s...

Yeah, its kinda screwy they won't let you move it even though the moving company insures it if something was to go bad. I guess their more concerned about getting all that interest money and wouldn't want a payoff from insurance if it would end up totaled

Re: portable standup AC units
I wouldn't see why not. They usually come with a low profile window adapter to fill in the space to keep it sealed. Probably use a little weather stripping to help. Either that or install a dryer vent kit to use it dedicated throw the wall & just cap it off in the winter seasons.

Re: New Here
I was able to get my mortgage down low enough that I used a personal line of credit from my credit union to pay it off. Also the park can charge you a fee to move it out I found also, how nice. I have a piece a land that I just have to pay off before I can finally move it on to the land. But yeah, y...

Got a model number off the Air Handler in the closet? If the fan is Multi-Speed you should be able to adjust it down but I do not know if that would make that big difference. You should have speeds, High, Medium-High, Medium-Low, Low. It's probably set on High right now and I wouldn't go any lower t...

Re: Intertherm Model MGH-065 random turn-on
If you can get your hands another a used working thermostat or a new cheap one, I would suggest trying that first just to eliminate the Thermostat. Do you ever here the Thermostat click when the heat randomly turns on? That's where I would start I've come across a lot strange problems with thermosta...

Re: replacing furnace
The CMF95 is the high efficiency one right? Like 95% or something like that I think. It will be vented out in PVC and you would need a roof-jacket adapter for the new PVC vent setup. The sell a kit that should fit your existing vent setup.

Re: RADIANT FLOOR HEATING IN 14X76
Anything that can effect the pressure on a boiler will cause problems. Some might be okay with 12psi but some will require at least 16psi. This is a really complicated system that needs fine tuning to make it work right. It sounds like you have a decent game plan but a major part comes down to the u...

Re: I am haveing a problem with my furnace. It works interme
Have you been using a meter to see where or where not you have voltage? At the gas valve, place 1 meter lead on one of the wires/terminal and the other meter lead on the other wire/terminal. Set your thermostat to call for heat and then check to see if you are getting 24v there. If you are getting 2...

Re: Do we need vaporbarrier under new floor?
Not to go off topic but could you shine some light on us with the radiant heating part perhaps in separate thread? Just interested in seeing how you are going about doing it. I do not think I heard of anyone using radiant floor heat in a mobile home before, assuming this is a hydronic system.

Re: replacing thermostat
Mark the green wire on the RH/RC terminal with a marker so you know that's what it is. Put them back just like they were on the new thermostat. You can buy "Heat Only" thermostats. That will have the basic terminals or if you get one made for like 3 heat 2 cool you'll have many extra termi...
