About an 17-19 year old furnace, burner is a Beckett and operates fine. The problem is that the blower doesn't always work automatically. The real problem is that this is my mother-in-law's furnace and her serviceman can't seem to figure it out and so she called me. I have limited experience on these furnaces, so I would appreciate any suggestions.
When the fan switch is turned to manual it works and when it is put back to the auto position, it works for a few days and then the same problem.
Thanks,
gtadim
Intertherm mobile home oil furnace Mod#MSH-050AAC-01
Hi,
I don't have any data on that furnace, but possibly a Fan & Limit Control failure.
Without the data, I don't know the p/n to see if it is possibly still available.
Would need to test circuit to know if that's it.
Thanks,
Robert
