We're taking down the mid-wall border in the living room 1st, then painting.
I peeked under a batten strip and I only have a teeny tiny space between wallboards- so if I decide to mud it should be short and sweet.

So true about those rascals not being the same. I was delighted ....at first, at how tiny the seams were, but others were not only wider, but sometimes uneven as well. Not to discourage you; just be forewarned.
I know, it's a bummer, huh? I just didn't want you to get your hopes up and then get hit with the wide ones. Maybe you'll get more of the thin ones though. Hey, that's a new greeting for mobile home owners: "May all your seams be thin ones."
