Hi all,
I have a 2000 model oakwood doublewide. It has the storm door built into the entry door, i think they call it a combo door..? anyways, the hinges for the storm door are worn out and the door has dropped a few inches because of this. I cant find these hinges anywhere and dont know what to do.. anyone know where i could find them? Here is a pic of them
Try this place - it's a mobile home supply place in Springfield, Illinois.
Here's a web page link to doors & door parts. You might even give them a call.
If it becomes necessary to replace a storm door hinge, it is essential to do it properly to ensure that you do not encounter any future problems. Great suggestions..
You may be able to find a Piano hinge that would fit, may need 2 depending on the length. Check with a full service hardware store the may have both a piano or the original type hinge. Take as accurate measurement as possible to give you the best available options as well as the old one.
