It was an amazing event. Just overwhelming to see the amount of people that came out to support him. He's doing alright, recovering from his last round of chemo still and just waiting for the bone marrow donor details to be worked out. Had 2 good matches and they called the first one and he said he wanted to do it but when they tried to set a date with him he wouldn't respond. So they have moved onto the next donor and trying to set dates and what not. The families can't have anything to do with the donor selection due to privacy laws, which is understandable. So we just sit back and wait for now but they are hoping to do the transplant next month sometime. He's been home for just over a week now and is doing alright after being in the children's hospital for about 6 weeks.
It's amazing how generous local bands are to give their time to benefits. That looks like a neat CP benefit that you guys are doing. My brother's band actually played at a CP telethon a few weeks ago, he wasn't able to be there but here is a picture I found online from it,

They play at a lot of benefits and other places. It's a pretty neat deal for the kids. Here's their facebook page with some pictures from Jordan's benefit on it

That cajon looks pretty neat. I did a search and found some info about building one. Maybe I'll look into making one. I tried the drums a few times and that was just too many different things going on at one time for me! I'm really good at multitasking and I'm pretty coordinated but the few times I tried the drums my hands and feet just didn't want to work together!
