My neighbor asked me to hang a painting for her that is a little heavy, in her mobile home. So I decided to use some molly bolts. How do I tell how thick the drywall is so I can use the correct molly bolts?
Talk to me like I don’t know what I’m doing........because I don’t
Most original sheetrock in mobiles are 3/8 thick, If you use mollys for 1/2" you should be fine. Better yet find a stud and anchor into that.

Thank you Greg. I will try the 1/2”. And trust me, I looked for a stud, but the stud is off center of where the item is to be hung, so that won’t work.
