Ventline V2280 Exhuast Fan

Has anyone replaced the fan motor? Does the center section come out or does the whole unit need to be taken down?

I have replaced just the motor on a oven hood vent.

since you will probably have to take the whole fan down to get to the motor, clean the fan up and take it with you to the mobile home parts store or the electrical supply house. Actually, the cleaning and relubbing it alone might bring it back to working condition......
most home improvement stores only have ceiling fans that vent out the side, the ceiling fans I have run across vent out the top.....
I had to dissemble the motor bracket and reuse it when I swapped out a motor on an oven hood vent fan.
remember for the bathroom, it is a small space you probably only need the lowest flowing fan to vent it.
