Coleman EB Series Furnace / Filter Problems
I have a Coleman Electric EB Furnace in my Mfg Home and I am having problems with the replaceable air filter.. No matter what I do, the furnace wants to suck the air filter into the furnace.. At times the vaccuum created inside the furnace is so strong, the filter collapses into the furnace.. I have made sure that all openings into the furnace closet including the blend air input are clean and clear in fact I have even opened the door to the furnace area and the same thing happens.. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?? Is this normal... More info: (1) I have made sure that the direction of air flow as marked on the filter is correct. (2) I have been using disposable cardboard frame filters.
Hi,
Do you have heat only or heat and a/c ?
IF you have a/c, does it do this in cool mode also ?
Thanks,
robert
